Domecq Manzanilla, as it’s called, is the product of a collaboration between González Byass and Pedro Domecq. The former acquired the latter in 2016. The sherry is produced in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, at Delgado Zuleta.
This manzanilla has delicious aromas reminiscent of bread, almonds, chamomile and apple, and it pairs perfectly with seafood, cured meats and salted almonds.
González Byass has been working for some time to add a sherry to its portfolio. Its UK managing director, in thedrinksbusiness.com, has said “We are delighted to be able to add this excellent manzanilla to the González Byass portfolio. Our relationship with Domecq has allowed us to offer our customers a one-stop-shop for all their sherry needs.”
